Welcome to the latest e-newsletter from Cleaning Matters.

The UK's hospital and healthcare sector is being pushed to the brink as it faces intense pressure to cut the number of hospital acquired infections (HCAIs), combat the rise of antimicrobial resistance, accommodate growing demand for its services and on top of this reduce its spending.

In May 2017, Cleaning Matters sent a survey to its readers and members of the Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (ahcp) to identify their biggest concerns in hospital and healthcare hygiene and the fitness of the cleaning discipline to rise to these challenges.

The results are now available to read online as part of a special report.
