and securely, KeyPad Plus features
DESFire technology. The latter is
based on ISO 14443 and combines
comprehensive 128-bit encryption
with copy protection.
Even with daily use of the
contactless identification function,
KeyPad Plus will continue to work
for 3.5 years without the need for
battery replacement. Indeed, battery
life for the product is circa 4.5 years.
