Bidvest Noonan invests in all-new
operating structure
FOLLOWING THE completion of
an acquisition plan that has brought
Cordant Services, the Axis Group
and Interact into the business, FM
company Bidvest Noonan has now
outlined its investment in a new
operating structure.
The new structure sees the
development of separate leadership,
operations and support teams for
Bidvest Noonan's businesses in Great
Britain and Ireland. Each business
will now be led by an individual
CEO. They will assume full
responsibility for managing the
business in the relevant geography.
Cormac Sheils, a highly
experienced senior executive who
has been part of the Bidvest Noonan
Group’s senior leadership team for
over eight years now, has been
appointed CEO of Bidvest Noonan
in Ireland. Charlotte Marshall is the
newly appointed CEO for Bidvest
Noonan’s business in Great Britain.
With revenues of over £700
million and currently employing
more than 27,000 people, Bidvest
Noonan has become a leading player
in the UK’s facilities services market.
This latest announcement signals
Bidvest Noonan’s commitment to
delivering exceptional service and
value for clients in these territories.
The new company structure will
allow Bidvest Noonan Group CEO
Declan Doyle to lead a team focused
on strategy, governance and
transformational activities. This new
team will enable the Bidvest Noonan
Group to develop new service lines.

INSITE CLOUD-based software
allows end users to remotely monitor
the real-time status of all of their
Fireco door retainers and closers.
With InSite, there’s a ‘golden
thread’ of information straight from
the phone or computer, enabling the
end user to supervise all buildings
from one place. They can see door
location, battery levels, signal
strength, serial numbers, installation
and inspection dates, user guides
and maintenance advice.
There are no software installations
required or complicated network
settings to manage. It’s simply a case
of installing the ProHub system
controller and connecting it to the
Internet, whereupon it will report
system functionality to the end user’s
chosen digital device.
InSite also offers a mass
notification system, namely Digital
Messaging Service, which allows end
users to receive instant updates in
the event of a fire.

MOTIONCAM OUTDOOR, the
new wireless outdoor motion
detector with a built-in camera
developed by Ajax Systems, helps to
prevent unnecessary patrol
dispatches. Instant and accurate
intrusion detection, ultra-low power
consumption and clear images day
and night satisfy professional grade
outdoor security requirements.
MotionCam Outdoor is equipped
with a system of two PIR sensors
which, thanks to the LISA software
algorithm, detect human motion
with high accuracy at a distance of
up to 15 metres. LISA performs
correlation and spectral signal
analysis, which in turn allows the
detector to instantly distinguish any
real threat from interferences.
When an intruder enters a
restricted area, the system raises an
alarm. This is followed by a series of
two-to-five verification images.
